This notice explains the personal information a 96M account involves, why each item is needed, how it is protected, and how to raise a question about it. It applies to members playing in Malaysian Ringgit on our platform.
96M is a registered trade mark, brand and registered business at 30, Ghar Id-Dud Street, Sliema SLM1572, Malta.
All personal information given to 96M is treated and stored in the strictest and most confidential way.
The registration form asks only for the details needed to create, identify and protect your account:
Before the account is created, a human verification check runs on the form, and you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have read the terms.
Some information is not collected at registration but is added when you start moving money.
Bank Details. Under Account, you add the bank account that will receive your withdrawals, including the bank, the account number and the account name. On the withdrawal form the account name is filled in from your registered full name and cannot be edited, which is what keeps withdrawals payable only to the account holder. This is also why a name that does not match the receiving bank account will stop a payment.
Withdrawal PIN. A 6-digit PIN must be created before your first withdrawal, and it authorises withdrawals from your account afterwards. The PIN must be exactly six digits, cannot repeat the same digit three times in a row, cannot be a consecutive run of digits, and cannot contain your phone number, so that it cannot be derived from information someone else may already know about you.
Mobile and email verification. Your mobile number can be bound to the account and verified by SMS or email one-time password. Verification confirms that the contact details on file genuinely belong to you before they are used for anything sensitive.
Google Authenticator. You can bind an authenticator app to your account by scanning the QR code shown or entering the key manually. Once bound, the app generates a time-based code that adds a layer of security to transactions, so a password alone is not enough to move money.
Verification checks. Your account area shows four checks covering identity, email, mobile and bank details, so you can see at a glance which of your details have been confirmed.
For the safety of member funds, 96M may ask for supporting documents before processing a withdrawal. These are a copy of photographic identification with a clear photo, and a bank statement for the receiving account showing the account number and your name. Balances on the statement may be blanked out, as the statement is used only to confirm that the account belongs to you. Documents are sent to customer service for that check.
Requesting documents at the point of payment protects the member: it is the step that prevents funds being sent to an account that is not yours.
Running an account generates records that belong to it. Deposits, transfers between the Main Wallet and product wallets, withdrawals and rebates are recorded and visible to you under Fund, through History and Instant Rebate.
These records exist so that the account can function. They are what allows a balance to be credited and paid out, a daily cash rebate to be calculated from the total amount wagered on eligible games and credited the following day, and your accumulated deposit total to be measured against the next VIP tier shown on your fund pages.
Your account includes a Messaging inbox. Information about your account and about promotions may reach you through that inbox, and promotional offers may also be sent by SMS to the mobile number on your account. Offers delivered this way carry their own instructions and terms.
Protection of your account rests on several layers working together:
Your part in this matters as much as ours. Keep your password and PIN to yourself, do not reuse them elsewhere, and keep your registered email and mobile number current, since those are the channels through which a one-time password reaches you.
We remind members never to share account details or personal information through any communication channel that 96M has not officially displayed. Anyone approaching you elsewhere and asking for your username, password, PIN, one-time password, bank details or identity documents should not be given them, whatever reason is offered. A one-time password in particular is meant for you alone and is never needed by anyone else.
If you are unsure whether a channel or a request is genuine, stop and check with customer service before replying.
Because your full name is used for payment verification and your contact details carry one-time passwords, the value of these records depends on them being correct. If your mobile number, email address or bank account changes, contact customer service through live chat so that verification and withdrawals continue to work as expected.
Questions about the personal information on your account, about a verification step, or about a document request can be raised with the 96M Customer Support Team through live chat, which is available 24 hours a day. If an email or SMS one-time password does not arrive, customer service is also the right place to go.
